Gorilla Tie

We saw one – yes, that’s right – a real Gorilla. We sat there with a pen and pad and sketched it over 300 times. Each version got better and better. Day and night we sat there, feverishly sketching, shirts soaked with sweat until this guy with a smooth, swirly moustache came up to us and said, ‘enough’. That’s when we knew we had designed a more than OK Gorilla Necktie.

Our hand-sewn method allows the Gorilla Tie to capture extraordinary detail as there is little machinery used in the crafting of this tie. Touches such as these make all the difference. Gorillas live in troops, which are made of one adult male, multiple adult females and their offspring. The male is the mediator who makes the decisions and resolves conflict. Inspired by the intelligent species, our Gorilla Necktie exudes sophistication and is hand cut and sewn on a classic navy backing. Designed exclusively by The Brothers at OTAA.
