Darius the Great built at least two Palace Cities - Persepolis and Susa of the Persian Empire. Some believe there may have been palaces in Babylon and Ecbatana, but archaeologists have not found them. What they did find was this tie and a letter saying ‘Darius wasn’t the only great thing about this place.’.

The paisley motif consists of a pattern of tear-drop shaped decorations edged in vivid Orange, bordering a White and Yellow core. The design is sharp and eye-catching against the Midnight Blue backing. The finely woven linen lends a texture of softness to the matte fabric of the Darius the Great Midnight Blue Paisley Tie.
