Blue Donkey Tie

We saw one – yes, that’s right – a real donkey. We sat there with a pen and pad and sketched it over 300 times. Each version got better and better. Day and night we sat there, feverishly sketching, shirts soaked with sweat until this guy with a smooth, swirly moustache came up to us and said, ‘enough’. That’s when we knew we had designed a more than OK Blue Donkey Necktie.

Our hand-sewn approach allows the Blue Donkey Tie to capture extraordinary detail as there is little machinery used in the crafting of this tie. Touches such as these make all the difference. Donkeys are notoriously stubborn yet highly intelligent, with the ability to be cautious, friendly and eager to learn.  Inspired by our four-legged companion, this Donkey Necktie exudes sophistication and is hand cut and sewn on a classic navy backing.
